Spidey battles The Sinister Six in new gameplay trailer for Insomniac’s Spider-Man

June 12, 2018 by Gary Collinson

During yesterday’s Sony presentation at E3, a new trailer and images were unveiled for Insomniac’s hotly-anticipated Spider-Man video game. The trailer reveals that the wall-crawler will be going up against a new iteration of the Sinister Six, comprised of Mister Negative, Electro, Scorpion, Rhino, Vulture and a mystery sixth member, while the likes of Norman Osborn, Shocker, Kingpin, Taskmaster and Black Cat are all set to make their presence felt.

Check out the images and gameplay trailer here…

Starring one of the world’s most iconic Super Heroes, Marvel’s Spider-Man features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game. From traversing with parkour and unique environmental interactions, to new combat and blockbuster action, it’s Spider-Man unlike any you’ve played before.

This isn’t the Spider-Man you’ve met or ever seen before. This is an experienced Peter Parker who’s more masterful at fighting big crime in New York City. At the same time, he’s struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of millions of New Yorkers rest upon his shoulders.

Spider-Man is set for release on PS4 on September 7th.
