SPOILERS: Power Rangers cameos revealed, mid-credits scene confirmed

March 14, 2017 by Robert Kojder

As Power Rangers undergoes its press tour, production notes have been sent out by Lionsgate confirming that there are two cameos in the remake. Spoilers follow…

Revealed in the notes, it has been confirmed that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers stars Jason David Frank and Amy Jo Johnson, who were the original Green and Pink Rangers respectively, are set to feature in the movie. Viewers will most likely need eagle eyes to spot them, as they are credited as simply Cameo Role 1 and 2.

Collider also spoke with director Dean Israelite, asking him if there is a post-credits sequence, to which he replied: “There was always going to be a post-credit thing. The only question was whether it comes 2.5 minutes into the credits, or right at the end. We decided to break (the credits) up and go 2.5 minutes in. It felt correct.”
