Potential Stan Lee cameo spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War follow. You have been warned…
Stan Lee has been having a rather tough time of late, what with the passing of his wife Joan, various health issues, and some rather disturbing and saddening reports of elder abuse. Nevertheless, the comic book legend will once again be putting a smile on fans’ faces later this month as he makes his customary cameo in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War.
Although Marvel is yet to hold any press screenings of the movie, the studio has been showcasing the first twenty minutes of the superhero blockbuster at various fan events around the globe, and it seems those twenty minutes include Stan’s cameo. Here’s a description, courtesy of @JoshyMatthews24 on Twitter (via We Got This Covered):
“When Spider-Man gets to the outside of the bus he puts his mask on and jumps backwards and hits his body on the window of a vehicle. Stan Lee’s cameo is that he is the driver of that vehicle. He then says “huh.. must have been a bug.”
The cameo is presumably part of the scene where Peter Parker exits the school bus, as seen in this clip released earlier in the month.
