Deadline is reporting that It star Chosen Jacobs is set for a return to the world of Stephen King, having signed on to appear in the new TV series Castle Rock.
Jacobs, who played the character of Mike Hanlon in last year’s hugely successful horror film, will portray Wendell Deaver, the son of Henry Deaver (Moonlight’s Andre Holland).
Also featuring in the cast of the anthology series are Melanie Lynskey (Togetherness) , Sissy Spacek (Carrie), Jane Levy (Suburgatory), Scott Glenn (Daredevil), Terry O’Quinn (Lost) and Jacobs’ It co-star Bill Skarsgard.

Castle Rock is set in King’s fictional town, and is described as a psychological horror series which “combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland.”
Castle Rock is slated to premiere on Hulu later this year.
