Star Trek: Legends arrives on PC

June 20, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Tilting Point and developer Emerald City Games have announced the release of their hit team-based mobile RPG Star Trek: Legends on Windows PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam.  The former Apple Arcade exclusive allows players to step into the shoes of their favourite characters and embark on an epic adventure.

Star Trek: Legends for Windows allows players to choose from a whopping 90 iconic characters, including Kirk, Spock, Picard, Janeway, Data, Worf and Pike and take control of the U.S.S. Artemis and boldly go on a mission to control the mysterious Nexus and shape the cosmos.

Players will recruit their characters and have the chance to send them on away missions that will test their skills and ingenuity.  Each member of the team has their own specific skills and abilities that will help defeat any enemies encountered.  It will also be possible to earn special rewards by completing collections of characters based on which of the Star Trek series they appeared in or the traits they possess.

Along with the game’s main campaign mode, players can also battle others in PVP mode and advance through the PVP leagues, or attempt survival mode and unlock rewards there.

The Windows version features all the mobile content from the initial Apple Arcade launch as well as all post-launch content and a variety of quality-of-life changes.  There’s also a brand-new storyline from Mike Johnson, author of beloved Star Trek comics including Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness, Star Trek: Ongoing and Star Trek: Picard – Countdown, that players can encounter in the campaign mode.

Star Trek: Legends is available now.
