Star Wars: Princess Leia leads bestselling comics and graphic novels of March 2015

Diamond Comic Distributors has released details of the bestselling titles of March 2015, with Marvel’s Star Wars: Princess Leia #1 leading the top ten comic books and IDW Publishing’s Nemo: River of Ghosts from Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill the biggest seller on the graphic novel front.

Here’s the top ten comic books, which is dominated by Marvel, with only one DC title preventing a total monopoly…

1. Star Wars: Princess Leia #1
2. Star Wars #3
3. Guardians Team-Up #1
4. Spider-Gwen #2
5. Star Wars: Princess Leia #2
6. Amazing Spider-Man #16
7. Howard the Duck #1
8. Star Wars: Darth Vader #3
9. Batman: Arkham Knight #1
10. Amazing Spider-Man #16.1

And here’s the top ten graphic novels…

1. Nemo: River of Ghosts
2. Ms. Marvel Vol. 2: Generation Why
3. Low Vol. 1: The Delirium of Hope
4. Hawkeye vs Deadpool
5. Saga Vol. 4
6. Deadpool Vol. 7: AXIS
7. Deadpool’s The Art of War
8. Deadly Class Vol. 2: Kids of the Black Hole
9. Birthright Vol. 1: Homecoming
10. Bob’s Burgers Vol. 1

And as with February, Marvel remains top of the pile when it comes to both dollar share and unit share…

1. Marvel Comics 38.82% (dollar share); 41.53% (unit share)
2. DC Comics 23.01% (dollar share); 26.13% (unit share)
3. Image Comics 11.39% (dollar share); 12.98% (unit share)
4. IDW Publishing 6.51% (dollar share); 5.16% (unit share)
5. Dark Horse Comics 3.90% (dollar share); 3.07% (unit share)
6. Boom! Studios 2.41% (dollar share); 2.44% (unit share)
7. Dynamite Entertainment 2.37% (dollar share); 1.99% (unit share)
8. Eaglemoss Publications 1.83% (dollar share); 0.32% (unit share)
9. Titan Comics 1.01% (dollar share); 0.77% (unit share)
