With Star Wars Resistance coming back from its hiatus this weekend, Lucasfilm and Disney have released the midseason trailer for the series. The trailer sees the arrival of the First Order at the Colossus and Kaz having to deal with this new development. Based on some of the trailer, it seems we may be able to expect some crossover with the events of The Force Awakens sooner than we thought. Watch the trailer below…
In addition to the trailer, Lucasfilm also announced Star Wars Resistance has been renewed for a second season. Fans will see the series return in Fall 2019 in time for the release of Star Wars: Episode IX. We’ll see how much the new season will lead into the next sequel film from director J.J. Abrams.
