A new report has revealed that the Star Wars spin-off focusing on Rogue One‘s Cassian Andor starts filming next month.
The future of Star Wars certainly seems to have live-action TV very much in mind, with a collection of Disney+ shows taking centre stage while Lucasfilm is slowly developing their future movie strategy.
The success of The Mandalorian has increased anticipation for the next Star Wars show, which focuses on Rogue One‘s Cassian Andor before the events of the film. We don’t know very much at all about the series but we do know when it starts shooting.
According to a report by Deadline, things will get underway in October of this year: “The series centers on the Cassian Andor character (Diego Luna, reprising his role from the film) and is in pre-production with plans to start shooting next month. Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller also are in the cast.”
