Given that Grogu left for pastures new in the season two finale, while several of the supporting players have taken a trip to Tatooine for this December’s spinoff series Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, it’s a little uncertain which direction The Mandalorian will go in when the Star Wars show returns to Disney+ for its third season next year.
Cameras are now rolling on season three of The Mandalorian, and while we await an official announcement from Lucasfilm as to the returning cast of characters, WWE superstar Sasha Banks has seemingly ruled out an appearance from Koska Reeves, with Banks telling Bleacher Report:
“I’m not on the next season, but it was incredible being on The Mandalorian on Star Wars. To be on a franchise that is so huge and so loved, just look at the reception from fans outside of the WWE Universe. It was the best feeling of all time. The projection of that show was overwhelming. I legit felt like I was in a galaxy so far, far away. I felt like I was on a different planet.”

It’s worth noting that Banks previously claimed her first outing in The Mandalorian was her only appearance of the season, only for Koska Reeves to return in the finale alongside Katee Sackhoff’s fellow Mandalorian Bo-Katan Kryze. It certainly seemed set up that Bo-Katan could figure in Din Djarin’s future, but so far only Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers (Greef Karga) and Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) are confirmed for season three. However, with other projects such as Star Wars: Ahsoka on the horizon, it would surely be a surprise if we have seen the last of Banks’ Mandalorian warrior.
The first two seasons of The Mandalorian are available to stream now on Disney+ and features a cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Burr, Ming-Na Wen, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Timothy Olyphant, Nick Nolte, Werner Herzog, Amy Sedaris, Omid Abtahi, Rosario Dawson, Sasha Banks and Mark Hamill.
