Get ready for more Tales of the Jedi as Dave Filoni announced at Star Wars Celebration’s panel for the 15th anniversary of Star Wars: The Clone Wars a second season of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi has been ordered for Disney+.
Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi premiered on the streaming service last fall and consisted of six episodes that explored the lives of Count Dooku and Ashoka Tano. For Dooku’s episodes, his time in the Jedi Order was explored with how he began to be seduced by the Dark Side while Ahsoka’s early life was fleshed out as well as some of the years after her survival from Order 66, including a run in with an Inquisitor.
“Tales of the Jedi was so fun the first time, I decided to do some more,” he said to the large crowd. Filoni – who was also announced as directing a Star Wars movie at Celebration this weekend – is always notoriously coy about his projects and didn’t say which Jedi or timeframe would be the focus in season two.
