The first Galactic Front event was a huge success for the Federation and allowed humanity to get a foothold on the ice world of Boreas. Now, Offworld has released Update 1.2 bringing with it new weapons mods, re-enlistment rewards and the Disputed Sands Galactic Front event.
Despite the Federation victory on Boreas, a new Galactic Front arrives that will take troopers back to Valaka. The Disputed Sands event will require the same dedication from players that gave the Federation its first victory, so be sure to form your companies, take the fight to the Bugs and show them what humanity is made of.
Update 1.2 also brings new state-of-the-art weapon modifications for a variety of different weapons, from shotguns to grenade launchers. The men and women at Federation Research and Development have been hard at work to ensure there are cutting-edge mods for cutting through Bugs. Of course, battles aren’t won through weapons alone, the update now introduces Company Chat. This feature can be found on the Company Home Page and will allow players to rally their squad and share information before setting out on the next mission.
There’s a host of Re-Enlistment Rewards available for those who set out on another tour of duty. These rewards include exclusive cosmetics with the Prestige Set offering Tier 1 re-enlistees with sleek new looks for their uniform, weapons, visors and more. Those who have already re-enlisted will receive these rewards retroactively.
