Slitherine Games has announced that they will be releasing a new single-player expansion for their popular RTS Starship Troopers: Terran Command this autumn. Titled Raising Hell, this new expansion will bring new units, new missions and a real hellscape of an environment to fight over. A new announcement trailer can be seen below…
In Raising Hell the action takes players to the unforgiving planet of Gehenna, a resource-rich planet and extremely profitable. With its heavy industrial and mining presence the Federation has protected the planet with adventuring mercenaries and gritty veterans but the Arachnids are never far from the worlds of humanity and a horde has recently descended to the surface. It’s time for the Mobile Infantry to step in and once more eliminate the Bug threat.
With this upcoming expansion, players will fight their way through seven story-rich combat missions, discover additional gameplay mechanics and gain the opportunity to use a series of new units, including the new Powered Suit Incinerators and Powered Suit Officers. They will also get access to Mercenary and Vilon Station units, such as Frag Mercs to Engineering Bipeds and Shredder Mercs.
It’s not just humanity who are getting reinforcements, the Arachnids have also evolved new units, including the airborne Pyroflies, monstrous Immolators and the quick moving Stingers that can fire superheated projectiles.
Raising Hell will require players to repel the Arachnid threat and ensure humanity’s place in the universe when it releases this autumn.
