Steven Spielberg says he’ll “probably” do Indiana Jones 5 with Harrison Ford

October 12, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Since Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm, there’s been a lot of speculation about the future of of the production company’s other big franchise, with talk of a fifth Indiana Jones movie, which may or may not be a reboot of the series.

Speaking to Yahoo! Movies about his upcoming movie Bridge of Spies, director Steven Spielberg has suggested that he’ll be back behind the camera for Indiana Jones 5, reuniting once again with Harrison Ford.

“Tom Hanks is tied with Harrison Ford with four movies,” said Spielberg when discussing his regular collaborators. “Now I’ll probably do an Indy 5 with Harrison, [so] it’ll be five for Harrison, four for Tom.”

Spielberg is set to follow up Bridge of Spies with adaptations of The BFG and Ready Player One, so it could be some time before we see Ford donning the fedora once again.

Are you excited at the prospect of a fifth Indiana Jones movie from Spielberg and Ford? Let us know in the comments below…
