Players of Stranded: Alien Dawn can now face a new scenario, research new tech and encounter new enemies as Frontier Development releases a brand new DLC and a free update. More of this new premium DLC can be seen in the new trailer below….
In the new Robots and Guardians DLC, players have liberated Hope (the first sentient android) and have fled to the Outer Worlds to keep her safe from the ruthless manufacturing consortium attempting to destroy her. As Hope’s intelligence increases and she gains further sentience, players will be able to select new skills and unlock additional traits that will help them defend Hope from the consortium’s efforts to reclaim her.
Players will need to fight against waves of automated attacks to defend Hope and will be able to research brand-new weaponry such as defence bots and laser turrets. There will also be the possibility for players to unlock new ways to automate daily tasks around the base by using service and harvest bots that can help with cooking, farming and resource gathering.
There will also be a new survivor for players to select for their group. Henry Caldwell is a seasoned veteran whose close combat skills could prove vital in the defence of Hope.
Alongside this premium DLC, a new free update has also been released that brings a range of new features and enhancements, including delivery drones, multistory building tools and more.
Stranded: Alien Dawn – Robots and Guardians DLC is available now on Xbox One, X/S, Playstation 4 and 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store for £9.99/$12.99/€12.99.
