Stranger Things is now in the endgame.
As we previously reported, the fifth and final season of the Netflix streaming megahit would begin production shortly after the holidays. Now, the actors are beginning to report for duty.
Sources in the city, like Atlanta Filming, say that Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke, and Charlie Heaton are all at the studio ready to film.
The Duffer Brothers are already hyping up the film, calling Stranger Things 5 “as big as any of the biggest movies that we see.”
UDDATE: Netflix has now issued the following cast photo to officially announce the start of production…
Before the Hollywood strikes, director Dan Trachtenberg was attached as a director, while 80s icon Linda Hamilton was also announced as joining the series.
Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gates Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, and Priah Ferguson are all expected to return.
