Stranger Things ups Priah Ferguson to series regular for season 4

February 23, 2020 by Ricky Church

The gang of Hawkins is about to grow a little more as Priah Ferguson, who plays Lucas’ younger sister Erica, has been upped to a series regular role in the fourth season of Stranger Things.

Ferguson had a small role in the second season of the hit Netflix series before gaining a more prominent role in season three as Erica actively helped Dustin, Steve and Robin gain entry into the secret Russian lab beneath Starcourt Mall.

The recent teaser trailer for the fourth season revealed the fate of Chief Hopper, who is seemingly being held captive in Russia after presumably dying in the third season finale. The Duffer Brothers, the creators and showrunners for Stranger Things, gave a brief synopsis for the fourth season with the teaser:

“Although it’s not all good news for our ‘American’; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other. Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything”

Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Sadie Sink as Max, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair and Maya Hawke as Robin.
