After starring in HBO’s hit series Succession, Sarah Snook has landed the lead role of Peacock’s upcoming thriller series All Her Fault based on Andrea Mara’s novel of the same name. Deadline first reported the announcement of Snook’s new role, where she will play Marissa Irvine, a mother looking for her son.
Created and written by Megan Gallagher (Wolf), All Her Fault “opens on a plausibly terrifying situation that eventually unearths the deep secrets of a community. Marissa Irvine arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes. She isn’t the nanny. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.”
The first episode will be directed by Minkie Spiro (3 Body Problem), who will executive produce alongside Snook, Gallagher and Mara. The series will be developed by Universal International Studio.
Snookis most known for her role as Shiv Roy in Succession for which she was nominated and won Emmy, Golden Globes and Critics Choice awards during the series’ four-season run.
