Warner Bros. Animation and Adult Swim have released the first teaser trailer for the animated series My Adventures with Superman. While an exact date isn’t set, it will debut on Adult Swim and HBO Max this summer.
My Adventures with Superman was given a two season order when it was announced in 2021. The voice cast so far is Jack Quaid (The Boys) as Superman/Clark Kent, Alice Lee (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) as Lois Lane with Ishmel Sahid (Cousins for Life) recently announced as Superman’s pal Jimmy Olsen.
The series is developed by Sam Register (Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham), Jake Wyatt (Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus), Brendan Clogher (Voltron: Legendary Defender) and Josie Campbell (Legion of Super-Heroes).
My Adventures with Superman catches up with twenty-somethings Clark Kent, the bright and driven Lois Lane, and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet.
In this serialized coming-of-age story, we follow Clark as he builds his secret Superman identity and embraces his role as the hero of Metropolis – and perhaps the world. Lois, now growing into a star investigative journalist, takes aspiring photographer Jimmy Olsen under her wing. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love, sharing adventures, taking down bad guys, stumbling over secrets, and discovering what it means to be Superman and Lois Lane.
My Adventures with Superman will premiere this summer.
