To go along with the earlier Justice League image showing Batman, The Flash, Cyborg and Wonder Woman united and ready for battle, director and DC Extended Universe overseer Zack Snyder has made some comments in the print version of Empire regarding the role Superman that will play in the narrative.
“Superman does play a big part in this movie,” said Snyder. “His presence, and lack of presence, are big story points…”
Although he’s been absent from the marketing material so far, it would take a very, very gullible mind to believe that Superman would not have a physical presence in the film at all. Still, some official confirmation of Superman’s return and his importance to the plot is sure to be welcomed by fans of the Man of Steel.
