Survive the day in Die by Anything

January 3, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Surviving a normal day at school or at work is often an easy thing to do, but in Guarida Games’ visual novel Die by Anything, surviving is anything but easy.  Arriving on 10th January on Steam and Playstation 4/5, Die by Anything will have players make absurd decisions for seemingly simple choices with deadly consequences.

Die by Anything is a quirky visual novel that will have players explore everyday situations through the eyes of a student.  These situations, although simple and mundane, transform into surreal and often humourous life and death challenges.

With a manga style appearance, players will experience stories that bring mysteries, tension and many hilarious deaths, and if they can successfully survive the day will be able to see what really happens through one of the many different endings.

Die by Anything features:

  • Decision making that will influence the development of the game and where the wrong choice made can lead to an unexpected death.
  • More than 30 different endings staged in a comic book style.
  • Multiple paths to take within the story that can lead to more than 25 different deaths, including flesh being ripped off and death by the teeth of zombies.
  • An atmospheric soundtrack and realistic sound effects.
  • A selection of scenes to start from, providing they have been unlocked in previous run throughs.

Look out for Die by Anything arriving on Steam, PS4 and Playstation 5 on 10th January.  A Nintendo Switch version is also on the way.
