Action icon Sylvester Stallone is set to headline the dystopian action thriller Little America, which Michael Bay is executive producing through his Platinum Dunes banner for AGC Studios.
The film takes place in a dystopian future where a bankrupt America has become a war zone. Stallone is set to portray an ex-Army Ranger who is hired by an Asian billionaire to enter ‘Little America’, a walled-off city in Hong Kong housing many American refugees, to rescue the businessman’s daughter.
Rowan Athale (Strange But True) is writing and directing the project, which was previously set up at Universal Pictures prior to Stallone’s involvement.
