T.J. Miller joins Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One

June 2, 2016 by James Garcia

According to THR, Deadpool and Silicon Valley actor T.J. Miller has joined Steven Spielberg’s upcoming adaptation of Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One.

Miller has been cast as i-R0k, “an annoying troller in the online forums of the game” that humans of the near-distant future practically live in. i-R0k had a small, but important role to play in the book, and I’m curious to see if they’ll expand it at all to give Miller a chance at some of his signature comedic improv.

Ready Player One is currently gearing up for production, and stars Tye Sheridan (X-Men: Apocalypse), Olivia Cooke (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl), Simon Pegg (Star Trek Beyond), Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies, The BFG).
