According to Discussing Film, Thor: Ragnarok and Jojo Rabbit director Taika Waititi is set to write, executive produce and direct the pilot episode for a new FX series entitled Reservation Dogs.
The site reports that the series will follow four teenagers in a Native American housing project in Oklahoma who commit petty crimes. Native American filmmaker Sterlin Harjo (Mekko) is also writing and executive producing alongside Waititi, and filming is slated to get underway in February.

Waititi is coming off the World War II satire Jojo Rabbit, and is gearing up to shoot the football comedy drama Next Goal Wins starring Michael Fassbender before returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Thor: Love and Thunder. He has also recently directed an episode of Disney+’s Star Wars series The Mandalorian, which will air in December.
