Taron Egerton jokes about Kingsman / Deadpool crossover

January 31, 2017 by Robert Kojder

While doing interview rounds for the currently released animated feature Sing, MTV asked Taron Egerton (star of Kingsman: The Secret Service) which superhero he would like to see Eggsy team up with for battle.

Egerton had fun with the fantasy scenario saying “That’s a hell of a question. I guess the tone of Deadpool would probably lend itself best. You know, some of the others are a little bit more family orientated, whereas Kingsman and Deadpool are both pretty R. So I guess maybe that would work quite well. Ryan’s a great guy, I met him very recently. Eggsy and Deadpool, who knows. I dread to think what those boys would get up to.”

Kingsman: The Golden Circle will reunite director Matthew Vaughn with stars Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Sophie Cookson and Edward Holcroft, while new additions to the cast include Channing Tatum (Foxcatcher), Halle Berry (Extant) and Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones), Jeff Bridges (The Little Prince), Vinnie Jones (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) and Elton John.
