As reported by Deadline, Carry On will see Egerton playing Ethan Kopek, “a young TSA agent who gets blackmailed by a mysterious traveler to let a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Day flight”.
Jungle Cruise and Black Adam helmer Jaume Collet-Serra is set to direct the film, which is said to be in the vein of the filmmakers earlier action thrillers like Non-Stop and Unforgettable. The script was originally written by TJ Fixman, with Collet-Serra subsequently bringing Michael Green in to polish.
