Teach Grant and Jess Wiexler join It: Chapter Two as Henry Bowers and Audra Phillips

June 25, 2018 by Ricky Church

As It: Chapter Two continues its Toronto production, Variety has revealed two additional castings to the film in fairly important major roles, with Teach Grant (Altered Carbon) and Jess Wiexler (Chained for Life) the latest to join the horror sequel.

Grant will portray the adult Henry Bowers, the bully to The Losers back in their teenage years. In the first film, Henry became a thrall to Pennywise and attempted to kill The Losers when they made their way down to Pennywise’s lair, but ultimately failed. Driven insane by Pennywise, Henry was blamed for most of the missing children in Derry as well as the murder of his father and friends and placed in an insane asylum. As an adult, he is still insane and a tool for Pennywise to use against the returning Losers.

Wiexler will portray Audra Phillips, a famous actress who has married James McAovy’s Bill Denbrough. She bears a noticeable resemblance to Beverly, played in the sequel by Jessica Chastain, and follows Bill to Derry when she grows concerned over his mental state.

Young stars Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff and Chosen Jacobs are also set to reprise their roles from the first movie in flashback sequences.

It: Chapter Two will be released on September 6th, 2019.
