The bells have rung, and the big bad Darkseid in on his way. Director Zack Snyder took to social media today to tease a brand new look at his upcoming version of Justice League for HBO Max.
The preview features Wonder Woman discovering an ancient painting that looks a lot like iconic DC villain Darkseid. With a voice-over that feels ripped straight from Lex Luthor’s dialogue at the end of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, we hear about “the god is dead,” and he teases a grave threat coming to Earth. Check out the teaser here…

Snyder teased in the tweet that he’ll be showcasing more at the DC Comics fan event, DC FanDome. The global virtual event will take place on August 22nd, and the press release promises “new announcements from WB Games, Film and TV, and comics.”
