Warner Bros. and DC Films finally put an end to all of the rumour and speculation surrounding The Batman back in January when it was officially confirmed that Ben Affleck would be stepping away from the role of the Dark Knight for the Matt Reeves-directed solo movie, which was given a release date of June 25th 2021.
This lined up with earlier comments from Reeves, who said that he was aiming to go into production on The Batman at some point this year, as well as rumours that Warner Bros. was looking at a November start date for the shoot. Nothing has been confirmed by the studio as yet though, and if a new report from Variety’s Justin Kroll is accurate, it seems that filming may have been pushed back a few months and will now commence in early 2020.

Here's a small BATMAN update for you: hearing the script is still being polished up and that there's a possibility shooting begins at the top of 2020 instead of fall 2019. Which means it'll probably still be a minute before we find out who the next Caped Crusader will be

Assuming the info is legit, then Reeves and company will still have plenty of time to get The Batman in the can ahead of its June 2021 date, and so hopefully wouldn’t impact the film’s release schedule.
