Back in the summer of 2015, Troy Duffy revealed that having failed to get a third Boondock Saints movie off the ground, he was now turning his attention to the small screen, developing a prequel TV series based upon the cult 1999 vigilante film.
Well, we now have an update on the project courtesy of IGN, who has revealed that Duffy has now teamed up with Don Carmody Television for The Boondock Saints: Origins. Also launching is a “fan-focused pre-order campaign”, which invites fans to pre-order the series on DVD and digital download, as well as gaining access to behind-the-scenes content and merchandise.
