The CW is teaming up with Berlanti Productions once more, with the network ordering a new action-adventure drama from The 100 creator Jason Rothenberg entitled Searchers.
Deadline reports that the show follows “a group of unlikely heroes who find themselves on the journey of a lifetime. Ten years after the death of their parents, a pragmatic brother and free spirited sister are forced to team up when they learn that their mother’s terrifying and bizarre stories may be a road map to discovering the great legends, myths, and unexplainable mysteries of the world.”
Searchers joins an ever-expanding list of Berlanti Productions projects at The CW alongside the DC shows Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The company has also sold several pilots to various other networks this season, including Black Lightning, Deception, Criminal, The Marquis, Casa and Raised By Wolves, the latter of which has been written by Oscar-winner Diablo Cody.
