With the possibility of a writers strike looming, The CW has wasted little time in setting its schedule for the 2020/21 TV season with early renewals for fourteen of its shows.
With Arrow drawing to a close this month, next season will see the return of all of the network’s other DC shows in The Flash (season 7), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (season 6), Supergirl (season 6), Black Lightning (season 4) and Batwoman (season 2), along with Riverdale (season 5), Dynasty (season 4), Legacies (season 3), Roswell, New Mexico (season 3), Charmed (season 3), All American (season 3), In the Dark (season 3) and Nancy Drew (season 2).
In addition to the above, the network has also ordered a 13-episode second season for its upcoming Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene, which is set to make its debut as a midseason premiere this February.
The CW will be missing a number of its biggest shows in 20/21, with Arrow, Supernatural and The 100 all ending this current season.
