Per Deadline, two crew members have been injured during the production of the Sylvester Stallone-starring action sequel The Expendables 4, which is currently shooting in Greece.
According to producer Millennium, one injury involved a painter falling from a height during pre-production and the second injury occurred more recently when a stuntman backed up a slow-moving vehicle over a camera assistant’s foot. The outlet has confirmed that the camera assistant has now recovered while the painter required hospital treatment but has also recovered.
The Expendables 4 will star Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture who are reprising their roles from the first three movies as well as Megan Fox, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Tony Jaa, Andy Garcia, and Iko Uwais who is playing the main villain. Although plot details are being kept under wraps, we do know the film is being directed by Scott Waugh (Need for Speed) from a script by Spenser Cohen, Max Adams, and John Joseph Connolly.
Stallone has previously announced that not only has he wrapped filming as Barney Ross on The Expendables 4 but this latest instalment will be his last one and he will be leaving the series in the hands of co-star Jason Statham.
