Delays, reshoots, and real-life controversy make the journey to Andy Muschietti’s The Flash a rocky road. But now, we are nearing the first official trailer for the film, just in time for this year’s Super Bowl.
It took a while to get to this point, but some fans are delighted to finally glimpse what The Flash will do to the DC and its multiverse. Ahead of the first trailer, Warner Bros. Discovery dropped the poster for the film, teasing a world where Ezra Miller’s Flash will meet up with Michael Keaton’s Batman. With the DC Studios reboot incoming and Gunn’s recent comments about the film, it will be interesting to see what comes from this.
The official trailer will premiere during the Super Bowl on Sunday. Check out the full poster below…
Along with Ezra Miller as Barry Allen alongside Zack Snyder’s Justice League co-stars Ben Affleck (Batman) and Kiersey Clemons (Iris West), The Flash will see Michael Keaton making his return as Batman along with Ron Livingston (Office Space) as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdu (Pan’s Labyrinth) as Nora Allen, and Sasha Calle (The Young and the Restless) as Supergirl.
The Flash is set for release on June 16th.
