Matthew Vaughn’s prequel to his blockbuster Kingsman franchise has been bumped from its Valentine’s Day 2020 release date amidst a slew of scheduling announcements from Disney.
The Hollywood Reporter has announced that The King’s Man will now be released seven months later on September 18, 2020. The exact reason for the delay is unclear, but with Disney announcing five untitled Marvel Studios projects, as well as a release date for Ridley Scott’s historical epic The Last Duel (December 25th, 2020), it looks as though the spy-caper is just a victim of the reshuffle.
The King’s Man stars Ralph Fiennes alongside Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, with Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.
