Following last week’s impressive debut, The Last of Us has jumped 22% for a record-breaking second-week viewership of 5.7M viewers on Sunday night.
The videogame adaptation got off to a strong start, drawing HBO’s second largest figures for a debut since 2010 with 4.7 million across linear and HBO Max, which has grown to 18 million viewers since that debut.
It’s even better news in the second week, where the Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey headlined series jumped 22% for a 5.7M Sunday night audience. The performance marks the biggest week 2 audience growth for an HBO Original drama series in the history of the network.
