Disney+ has announced that the second season of the acclaimed live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian is set to premiere on the streaming service on October 30th, with episodes once again arriving on a weekly basis.
The series, created by Jon Favreau, follows the titular Mandalorian, bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) in the years following the Galactic Civil War as he looks to protect The Child – a.k.a. Baby Yoda – from the remnants of The Empire.
If reports are to be believed, the second season is set to introduce several familiar faces from the galaxy far, far away, including Ahsoka Tano (played by Rosario Dawson), Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) and Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) – although we suspect the latter may also/actually be playing Captain Rex.
