Disney and Lucasfilm have announced the anticipated third season of The Mandalorian is set to premiere March 1st, 2023 on Disney+. Check out their announcement along with the first image of the season below…
Not much is known about the third season, but it will see Pedro Pascal’s Mandalorian Din Djarin reunited with his foundling Grogu following the events of The Book of Boba Fett. Audiences will also see Katee Sackhoff return as fellow Mandalorian Bo-Katan and a possible conflict between her and Djarin now that he wields the Darksaber, an ancient and legendary Mandalorian weapon that gives whoever wins it in combat the right to rule Mandalore.

The Mandalorian was the first Star Wars series for Disney+ and follows Din Djarin and Grogu across the galaxy as Djarin takes on bounties and outruns remnants of the Empire as they hunt Grogu down. Along with Sackhoff, the series has also featured Carl Weathers as Griff, Bill Burr as Mayfeld and Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.

The Mandalorian was created by Jon Favreau with him acting as showrunner and executive producing alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck.
The Mandalorian will premiere on Disney+ March 1st, 2023.
