The Mummy’s Annabelle Wallis joins Jeremy Renner and Ed Helms in Tag

Deadline is reporting that Annabelle Wallis (The Mummy) has signed on to start in the upcoming comedy film Tag from New Line Cinema, with the actress joining a cast that includes Jeremy Renner, Ed Helms, Jake Johnson and Hannibal Buress.

The film is based on a story from the Wall Street Journal and follows a group of friends who have been playing a no-holds-barred version of the children’s game Tag for the last 30 years. Wallis is set to play a reporter for the WSJ who follows the guys for the article.

Tag is being directed by Jeff Tomsic (Idiotsitter) from a script by Mark Steilen (Mozart in the Jungle) and Rob McKittrick (Mancrush). it is set for release on June 29th 2018.
