The Russos have some knowledge of what future MCU movies will entail

July 31, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Avengers: Endgame, have an “inkling” of what future MCU movies will entail.

The next phase of the MCU is coming at us fast and fans around the world are eager to learn more about what they can expect from the next slew of movies.

Two people who might know a thing or two about what the future holds are Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Endgame. Speaking to IMDB (via Screen Rant), the two said the following about what might come next: “We have an idea of what like the next one or two are, just from tangentially hearing about it while we were there, I don’t know. We don’t want to know, in a way.”

It sounds like the two are looking forward to being fans of the franchise again, rather than working on the films themselves. They even tried their hand at fan-casting, telling Kevin Smith that Keanu Reeves as Moon Knight is “a good call”.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Russos and if they end up working again in the MCU at any point in the future.

Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Benedict Wong (Wong), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Vin Diesel (Groot), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Evangeline Lilly (The Wasp), Letitia Wright (Shuri) and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie).
