They may be about to take a break from the MCU following Avengers: Endgame, but it seems that the Russo brothers aren’t quite finished with Marvel just yet, as the filmmakers have revealed to India Times that they are working on a documentary project related to the late, great Stan Lee.
“We love Stan Lee and I think it’s incredibly special that Endgame will be his final cameo,” said Anthony Russo. “We are fascinated by the life of Stan Lee and we are actually developing a little something that has to do with his work in the history of Marvel. But we are not ready to present it or talk about it yet. It’s more of a documentary.”
Whether this is a fully-fledged feature documentary, a bonus feature for the Endgame Blu-ray / inevitable ‘Infinity Saga’ box set, or perhaps an episode of the Marvel’s 616 documentary series for Disney+, we’re obviously not sure at this point, but it will certainly be something for fans to watch out for.
