Following on from last week’s trailer, Disney and Lucasfilm released a brand new international trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which offers up some new footage. Not only that, but it also teases dialogue relating to Jyn’s father Galen Erso, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Check it out here…

…UK magazine Empire revealed its Rogue One: A Star Wars Story cover for the latest issue of its magazine, while Entertainment Weekly debuted a new image of Felicity Jones’ heroine, Jyn Erso – and you can check both out here…
…Moving over to the still-yet-to-be-titled Star Wars: Episode VIII, and director Rian Johnson shared an image from the edit bay as the movie officially enters post-production. It doesn’t reveal anything, but you can check it out here…
…What we do know is that composing legend John Williams will be returning to score Episode VIII in the next few weeks. In an interesting note, Williams apperantly doesn’t know who Rey’s parents are, but she is a key reason for him returning. “He was enchanted by actress Daisy Ridley’s portrayal of Rey and does not want another composer scoring her scenes,” an outlet noted. So even John Williams – who has been with Star Wars since 1977 – doesn’t know the secrets behind the closed doors of Disney…
…EA revealed details of the upcoming ‘Battle Station’ mode from Star Wars Battlefront’s upcoming Death Star expansion, which sees players battling across three phases as they look to complete each objective. It’s available next month, and more details can be found here…
…Sticking with video games for a moment and during this week’s Gamecon it was revealed that Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission will now be titled Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission, and will see gamers going up against a Star Destroyer. “Rogue One is in the same time period the base game covers, so to be relevant in the ever-evolving Star Wars universe we’ve since been able to work with Lucasfilm to make the connection here,” stated James Svensson, Producer at Criterion Games…

…Before we have the comic book previews for the week, it was announced that before the conclusion of Star Wars: Darth Vader, Marvel will be re-publishing issues #20-#23.
