Theo James and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are set to star in Hell or High Water director David Mackenzie’s bomb disposal thriller Fuze.
According to Variety, James (Divergent) and Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass) will headline Fuze, which will focus on the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb in a London construction site, sparking a mass evacuation that turns out to be the perfect cover for a heist.
Working from a script written by Ben Hopkins (Simon Magus), the film will reunite Mackenzie and Taylor-Johnson following 2018’s historical epic The Outlaw King.
James is coming off the back of headlining Netflix’s critically-acclaimed The Gentleman, the Guy Ritchie-directed spin-off series from his own 2019 hit feature-film, while he also scored an Emmy nomination for his performance in season 2 of The White Lotus.
Bond in waiting Taylor-Johnson has Sony/Marvel’s Kraven the Hunter and Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu scheduled for release this year, plus he has just been cast in Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later.
