We are now up to 11 cast members for the upcoming Penguin show, a spinoff of Matt Reeves’s hit film The Batman. The latest is a must-have player for a crime drama like this: Theo Rossi.
Deadline reports Rossi will star in a recurring role opposite Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti in The Penguin. Details on his role are under wraps.
Rossi is joining a star-studded cast that includes Farrell reprising his role as Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin, and Cristin Milioti (Made for Love) as Sofia Falcone. Clancy Brown is playing Sal Maroni alongside Michael Kelly (House of Cards), Shohreh Aghdashloo (The Expanse), Deirdre O’Connell (Outer Range), and Rhenzy Feliz (Runaways) in undisclosed roles.
The HBO Max original series The Penguin (working title) is an eight-episode drama from Warner Bros Television and DC Studios. The series will continue the Batman crime saga Matt Reeves began and centers on the character played by Farrell in the film.
