Blumhouse Productions will be hoping to dominate this year’s Halloween with their Exorcist sequel and the big-screen adaptation of Scott Cawthon’s 2014 survival videogame Five Nights At Freddy’s, for which Universal Pictures has just released a creepy new teaser.
Directed by Emma Tammi, with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop assisting Blumhouse Productions in bringing the game’s scary animatronics to life, Five Nights At Freddy’s stars Josh Hutcherson, Matthew Lillard, Piper Rubio, Elizabeth Lail, Mary Stuart Masterson, Lucas Grant, Kat Conner Sterling and Jessica Blackmore. The movie follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.
Five Nights At Freddy’s will be released in theaters and streaming on Peacock on October 27th.
