The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians have added Timothy Simons (Veep) to the cast as a new member of Camp Half-Blood’s staff.
Simons will play Tantalus, “a sardonic, manipulative, openly hostile, and rarely in a good mood… seeing as he is cursed with eternal hunger and thirst, but can never eat or drink. Tantalus has been released from imprisonment in the Underworld to become the interim Activities Director at Camp Half-Blood, having replaced Chiron, who is under suspicion of having ties to Kronos.”
Simons is the latest addition to the new season, which is currently in production in British Columbia. Other newcomers include Daniel Diemer as Percy’s cyclops half-brother Tyson, Margaret Cho as Wasp, Kristen Schaal as Tempest and Sandra Bernhard as Anger.
