Tom Hardy has signed on to play acclaimed war photographer Don McCullin in an upcoming adaptation of McCullin’s memoir Unreasonable Behaviour, Entertainment Weekly has revealed.
London-born photojournalist McCullin was lead photographer for The Sunday Times between 1969 and 1984, during which he covered the likes of Beatlemania, the construction of the Berlin Wall, the Vietnam War, The Falklands War and the AIDS epidemic in Africa.
Unreasonable Behaviour has been adapted by Gregory Burke (’71), while Hardy will produce the film alongside Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title.
Hardy will next be seen in Christopher Nolan’s World War II epic Dunkirk, which is currently shooting now ahead of a release on July 19th 2017.
