It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer before we return to Twin Peaks, with CBS Corp. chief Leslie Moonves confirming that the new limited series has officially been pushed to 2017.
The new Twin Peaks sees the return of co-creators David Lynch and Mark Frost, with Lynch set to direct every episode. Kyle MacLachlan is confirmed as returning to the role of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper and is expected to be joined by many of the original stars, while Amanda Seyfried (A Million Ways to Die in the West) has also signed on to appear as a “pivotal character.”
