…Moving on to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and this week brought an international trailer for Captain America: Civil War, albeit one that was really light on new footage [watch it here], some concept art showing the various Marvel heroes battling each other [see here], a leaked LEGO catalogue that may contain a giant spoiler about the movie [see here], and promotional images for Hot Toys 1/6th scale Iron Man Mark XLVI and War Machine collectible figures [see here and here]…
…Captain America: The Winter Soldier star Emily VanCamp will be returning as Sharon Carter for Civil War, and the actress has been speaking about her role in the sequel, as well as revealing that Agent 13 will be throwing down with Black Widow: “I can say that she’s openly going to be Sharon Carter in the next movie. In the comic books, Cap and her have a love affair we get to sort of explore. I can’t say if we go to that extent of it, but they’re certainly getting to know each other and they know who each other are… There are die-hard fans that want to see him with different people, all the different camps. So hopefully people are happy… I got to do a little fun, small fight sequence with Scarlett Johansson, which was fun, we’re all just kind of kicking ass in these movies….”

…During a promotional interview for Jessica Jones, Mike Colter offered up a few words on his role as Luke Cage, and where we’ll find the character in his 2016 solo series: “It’s nice to walk into something having a little head start and get a chance to warm up. You know, stretch it out a bit. Because Jessica Jones is so unique as a series, I’m so happy to be a part of it because Luke Cage is completely different – as Daredevil was completely different – and it’s nice to be a part of something that is unique. Luke Cage is going to basically find Luke right after Jessica Jones, uptown. He’s licking his wounds, I would say. You are going to know exactly what I mean when I say that, and he’s trying to figure out what’s his next step. It’s hard because he doesn’t know where to go from here. He’s lost a lot, and he’s basically in a state of turmoil…”
