Two new characters revealed for Aftercharge

March 19, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer Chainsawesome have revealed that there will be two new playable characters coming to their 3 vs 3 asymmetrical brawler shooter Aftercharge.  These two new characters will be joining the 10 existing class based characters in the game and will make their debut at PAX East 2019.

The two new playable characters are: An ingenious robot called Cannon, who, at the start of the Workonics rebellion transformed its own arm into a powerful quanta projector.  When this weapon is fully charged Cannon is able to fire out orbs of energy that can break extractors from a distance. Although powerful, these energy orbs are highly unstable and will dissolve if they impact any obstacle or a sufficient amount of quanta counter attacks.  Joining Cannon is the rebel of the Enforcers, Buster.  Buster will bring some pretty heavy weaponry to the battlefield, although he only wants to see his creations in action he is very effective at dealing with opponents with his powerful machine gun and his deployable mini-turrets.

Aftercharge is a competitive multiplayer brawler shooter that will see teams of three players become either invisible robots or an invincible security squad. Each battlefield will feature six glowing structures called Extractors which will serve as the objectives for both teams.  The invisible robots will need to use their various skills, stealth, create distractions etc. to destroy them while the Enforcers security squad will need to defend them at all costs.

Look out for these new characters coming soon.
