Two new characters revealed for Omen of Sorrow

August 5, 2018 by Andrew Newton

SOEDESCO and AOne Games have revealed two new characters for their dark fighting game Omen of Sorrow.  Adam and Imhotep will both bring their own special moves to the game and their epic moves can be seen in the screenshots and trailer below.

Adam is the result of a merging between science and the supernatural thanks to his father, Victor Frankenstein.  Adam roams Europe in the hope to find someone who can bring his father back to life.  In combat, Adam uses his immense strength and powerful lightning powers to knock out his opponents.

Imhotep is the mummified remains of a man who once claimed to be a god.  When he was killed his limbs were scattered across the world but he finally managed to put his body back together over the millennia.  When fighting, Imhotep can split off his limbs and magically let them attack their opponent independently of one another; he is also able to summon a powerful fireball of light and a horde of mummies.

Clear your mind, clench your fists and get ready for a wicked battle. Omen of Sorrow delivers a deep fighting system inspired by the classics, bringing back the edge, mindset and philosophy rooted in the genre’s arcade legacy and taking it to the next level with innovative features and mechanics. Engage in combat as one of twelve legendary characters such as the werewolf, vampire and succubus. Join the battle, conquer darkness.

Omen of Sorrow will arrive on PS4 later this year.
